Brinkley in foster home for the holidays

Today he went for a roll in the grass, which he loves. You can see that by this pictures.  Not too pretty but he sure loved the time in the sun for his favorite roll.  This boy will sit, down, give you his paw and nudges you for more hugs when you stop.  As expected, he has become the clinic favorite.  This evening our volunteer, Mike, will pick him up for his ride to his foster home to spend Christmas. We are all so happy to know that he will have a nice warm bed and two furry friends to play with for his very special Christmas present.

He will be made available for adoption when his tests are complete.   Keep watching the Shamrock notes for when he will be transferred to the available page.

15-yr old Brinkley rescued from shelter

I received a call several days ago that a 15-year old boy had recently come into the shelter and needed help.   Now I've had some dogs that they "thought" were that old but they knew this dog's birthday.   Everyone there had fallen in love with his sweet personality and he was quite perky for an old guy.   Well today, thanks to Tom our volunteer, Brinkley came into rescue today.

I was warned that I would fall in love with this boy and they weren't kidding.   He has won over everyone that he meets.  As soon as he arrived at the vets he immediately went back for a desperately needed bath.   Then the vet work began and he is doing great.  Yes, we have some small lumps and bumps but he is doing very well.

Goldy adopted!

Today was a big day for Goldy when she went home with her forever family. This family drove a great distance in driving rain to meet her, fall in love, and take her home to be one of their family. I am so happy for this girl who is just the sweetest Golden you would ever want to meet. She will truly have a very happy Christmas.

Peppermint Patty adopted!

Little Peppermint Patty went to her forever home this afternoon. This sweet little girl will have a great home with two loving adopters who were so excited to be able to meet her. Thanks again for all your support and for caring.
