This sweet 3-4 year old was an owner surrender. She wanted
to play with dogs, cats and people, but we noticed that she would not place
weight on her left rear leg. Two orthopedic assessments confirmed she has
Degenerate Cruciate Disease and Bilateral Hip Dysplasia. We decided to provide
her with a TPLO to address the left knee and minimize the stress on her other
rear leg and hips. The surgeon found a complete rupture of the cranial cruciate
ligament and a tear in her medial meniscus. She was a great patient and is now resting
with her foster family.
