Today we had two adorable pups come in to rescue, both with Sarcoptic Mange. It’s amazing that these two boys looked alike and yet came in to two different shelters, nowhere close to each other. Both Bobby and Sonny Delight were very healthy otherwise and were so happy to see each other again. Bobby arrived at 6 pounds and Sonny Delight came in at 4.5 pounds. The shelter estimate was 8 weeks but they were more like 6 weeks in age. These first photos were taken on 7/13 when I went to visit with them. When they came in, they both received their exam and were put on Revolution to clear up the mange, given antibiotics, and have been given baths with their special shampoo. They had scabby areas on their skin, but acted like healthy puppies and had a good appetite.
