Pi had not been responding to the steroid injections he was receiving
so we discontinued that treatment. With no other options, we chose to
keep him comfortable and happy as long as possible. He eventually got
to a point where he was no longer comfortable or happy and we had to
make the very difficult decision to let him go. Pi was loved dearly by
his foster mom, and he enjoyed the company of his foster siblings. His
final months were filled with love, good food, and fun. We were happy
to be there for Pi to give him as much happiness as we could in the
final months of his life. We will remember him always.
