Jax update

Jax was taken for his MRI and spinal tap this morning by his foster mom. She has been observing him and giving good feedback on his behaviors. Upon completion of the MRI it was determined that he had lesion on his brain and he has decreased vision in his left eye. While this sounds bad, and yes, it is serious, he is able to function, eat, and actually play with another dog. He was put on a prednisone for 3 weeks and then decrease it slowly. He will go back to the neurologist in 10 days for a recheck.

Meet Jax

Jax came in to rescue in much need of help. He was blind in his left and circles to the right. He is a young boy, just barely a year, and very, very sweet. After he arrived he was checked by our veterinarian and also the neurologist to assess what we had to do to determine what would be needed for him. After their vet checks and recommendations, it was determined that he needed an MRI and spinal tap to determine how we could help him.
