Milani adopted!

I am very happy to announce that Milani went home with the Ennis family this past weekend. We met at a park. Milani went up to everyone for pets and then turned her attention on Ferris. Their meeting was uneventful until I started playing with them both and then they started playing with each other. Milani jumped right into their car.

Mr Ennis called me as soon as I got home saying that Milani went right into their pool when they got home and has been playing non-stop with Ferris since. They stop when they are both exhausted and then go again after a rest. Tom and Carol say she is perfect and expressed their gratitude to the rescue and raved about the wonderful job our volunteers do.

Thanks go out to: Sandy, who picked Milani up and arranged all her vet care. Milani is so grateful to Sandy for relieving her of so much pain and assuring that she will not need to worry about her ears again. Culver Palms and the doctors that took such amazing care of her during her surgeries and recoveries. Lisamarie, who provided the assistance in matching Milani and the Ennis family. Joanne for initiating the placement process since this family first started their search in January. And finally Patricia for doing their home visit to assure that a dog place here would be safe, loved and well cared for.
